ABOUTAfter-School Rec is a recreational program that strives to reinforce healthy behavior skills, positive attitudes, and study skills learned in school. In addition to homework assistance, the group will engage in reading time and a variety of recreational activities including arts & crafts, sports & games, field trips, special visitors and more. The After School Rec program will be held at Acquinton Elementary School (Cafeteria & Gym). A staff member will walk all children attending Cool Spring Primary School over to Acquinton for the program. The program runs from 3:00-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.  Pricing and SuppliesThe cost of the program is $50 a week for Full-time and $35 a week for Part-time (3 days a week).Please Note: The weekly fee is already pro-rated for weeks when the program is closed for more than one day that week. (example: Thanksgiving break). Fees will be adjusted if closed for other circumstances such as inclement weather. Sibling Discounts: There will be a 7% Discount to any family that has more than 1 child enrolled in the program! Payments are to be made the Friday prior to the week of attendance or can be paid for on a monthly basis prior to the start of the month. Kids should pack a snack daily for snack time.If school is closed...The program will be held on early dismissal/staff development days (see calendar for detailed schedule). In addition to homework assistance, the group will engage in reading time and a variety of recreational activities including arts & crafts, sports & games, field trips, special visitors and more. The After School Rec program will be held at Acquinton Elementary School (Cafeteria & Gym). A staff member will walk all children attending Cool Spring Primary School over to Acquinton for the program. The program runs from 3:00-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.  Pricing and SuppliesThe cost of the program is $50 a week for Full-time and $35 a week for Part-time (3 days a week).Please Note: The weekly fee is already pro-rated for weeks when the program is closed for more than one day that week. (example: Thanksgiving break). Fees will be adjusted if closed for other circumstances such as inclement weather. Sibling Discounts: There will be a 7% Discount to any family that has more than 1 child enrolled in the program! Payments are to be made the Friday prior to the week of attendance or can be paid for on a monthly basis prior to the start of the month. Kids should pack a snack daily for snack time.If school is closed...The program will be held on early dismissal/staff development days (see calendar for detailed schedule). The program runs from 3:00-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.  Pricing and SuppliesThe cost of the program is $50 a week for Full-time and $35 a week for Part-time (3 days a week).Please Note: The weekly fee is already pro-rated for weeks when the program is closed for more than one day that week. (example: Thanksgiving break). A staff member will walk all children attending Cool Spring Primary School over to Acquinton for the program. The program runs from 3:00-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.  Pricing and SuppliesThe cost of the program is $50 a week for Full-time and $35 a week for Part-time (3 days a week).Please Note: The weekly fee is already pro-rated for weeks when the program is closed for more than one day that week. (example: Thanksgiving break). Yoga with Erika McCurryTuesday: Gentle yoga Stretch, lengthen, increase mobility and flexibility through  yoga postures that are designed with a more gentle approach.   We will go through a series of simple flow sequences designed for those new to yoga or otherwise want a more gentle approach.   No experience necessary.  A yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks and yoga strap are recommended.Thursday: Vinyasa yogaLearn to move your body and breath as you transition from pose to pose.  This progressive class will allow you to create heat through sun salutations which promotes a healthy cardio lifestyle.  We will also move through a series of poses each week that will increasing flexibility, strengthen and improve balance.  All fitness levels are welcome.
