No prior music experience needed. You will need to bring your own bucket (3 gallon or 5 gallon works really well, but any size will do) and a pair of drumsticks.  -Middle/High School Band- This class is offered for students in grades 7-12 who have some prior experience in a band program. This class is a 45 minute class. Students will play in a small ensemble setting. If the weather allows, students will meet and play outside. If not, we will meet inside and follow VDH guidelines. Students must provide their own instrument and portable, metal music stand. As a Music instructor, I am VERY interested in hearing from the community about their interests and other days that are preferred, if the ones provided do not work. Please email us your feedback at parksandrec@kingwilliamcounty.us

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM    Dog Training - Basic Life Skills

An orientation package will be sent to each team prior to the first class so they will know what to bring, what to expect, what is not allowed, and most importantly safety protocol. The person handling the dog must be 18 years or older and must submit proof of all vaccinations of their dog. No more than 1 handler should be present at each class session, due to the Governor's limit on social gatherings . 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM    Dog Training - Basic Life Skills
Basic Life Skills will address how to manage undesired dog behaviors, teach focus, impulse control, sit, down, stay, meet and greet, and my person favorite boundaries.  These skills will be taught using “Least Invasive Minimally Adverse” methods (LIMA). We will have a staff member present for check in and a brief COVID-19 screening that includes a few questions and a temperature reading. These classes are capped at 6 spots, so be sure to register quick!
