Come spend your summer with King William County Parks and Recreation! This year will be filled with excitement, fun and a variety of special visitors and programs!
Please choose from the 2 locations we have to offer this year.
Location 1: *Acquinton School:
This location is ONLY for those participating in the summer refresher program.**
Location 2: *Fire Station #1:
This location does not include the Summer Refresher program.
*Health screenings and protocol will be followed throughout the day.
Both locations will still have all the same visitors and programs.
*Activity groups will be created by ages.
*All Children must bring their own lunches.
New this year
(Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, field trips out in the public have been eliminated for the time being, however special visitors have been increased to provide smaller groups to participate, with the ability to obtain social distancing)
*Weeks are themed and all activities are relate to that theme.
*Summer Refresher program:
This program is voluntary to sign up and included in your $120 weekly fee. It is designed to provide additional resources for those children who require instruction with studies throughout the summer, to ensure they are prepared for the school year. This refresher is not meant to replace all the information missed during the pandemic, however it will work on key components of English and Math. Children enrolled in the Summer Refresher program will receive an hour and a half of studies on each day, except for Friday. Each group of 5 children (per grade level) will go to the same classroom each day with the same teacher for 6 weeks.
The Refresher program is being organized and implemented by a Director of Student Curriculum, as well as certified / licensed teachers. Further information will be provided after registration.
Fee Options:
($120.00 / week; $960.00 program total) Full Time Campers: 5 days a week (both locations)
*At this time, we are not providing part time hours as an option. We apologize for this change, however the demands of our current health situation dictate how we proceed. If we have spaces remain open after June 15, 2020, we will consider part time spaces.
*We are no longer utilizing the Punch card.
*Camp will continue until a week before school is scheduled to open.
